Kamala Harris has debuted her first campaign video for the 2024 presidential election, featuring Beyoncé's hit "Freedom."

On Thursday (July 25), Harris released a campaign ad titled "We Choose Freedom," outlining the stakes of the upcoming election.

“There are some people who think we should be a country of chaos. Of fear. Of hate,” Harris said as Beyoncé's "Freedom" played in the background. “But us. We choose something different. We choose freedom.”

“The freedom not just to get by, but get ahead. The freedom to be safe from gun violence," she continued. "The freedom to make decisions about your own body. We choose a future where no child lives in poverty. Where we all can afford health care, where no one is above the law.”

The video then flashed to a picture of Trump's mugshot.

“We believe in the promise of America and we are ready to fight for it,” Harris said.

According to CNN, Harris got permission from Beyoncé's team to use her song "Freedom" throughout her campaign. Bey's hit was first used by Harris on Monday (July 22) as she spoke at campaign headquarters.

Beyoncé hasn't publicly endorsed Harris but her mother, Tina Knowles, expressed her support for the vice president's bid shortly after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

“New, Youthful, Sharp , , energy !!!!” Knowles wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her and Harris. “Putting personal Ego , power and fame aside . That is the definition of a great leader, . Thank you, President Biden for your service and your leadership . Go Vice President Kamala Harris for President. Let’s Go."
