JD Vance failed at his attempt to confront Vice President Kamala Harris on a plane tarmac in Wisconsin.

On Wednesday (August 7), Vance approached Air Force 2, Harris' plane, on the Wisconsin tarmac with plans to confront the Democratic nominee for president, per the Daily Beast.

Vance's attempt failed as he realized that Air Force 2 was empty and Harris wasn't present.

“I just wanted to check out my future plane,” Vance told reporters on the tarmac.

Vance, former President Donald Trump's running mate, said he "wanted to go say hello to the vice president and ask her why does she refuse to answer questions.”

It's unclear what questions Vance was referring to.

Soon after the Ohio senator stormed Harris' empty plan, the vice president's campaign released a video on TikTok seemingly making fun of Vance over the incident. The campaign dubbed a popular TikTok sound over Harris and her running mate Tim Walz in front of their plane as the Trump-Vance plane took off.

“Now I want to sit back and relax and enjoy my evening, when all of the sudden I hear this agitating, grating voice," the sound boasted.

Harris and Vance are reportedly holding dueling campaign stops throughout this week.
