A white homeowner is being dubbed as a "Karen" after she was caught on camera yelling at beachgoers and roping off part of the public beach she claimed was her property.

In a video shared on TikTok, the homeowner appeared to berate a family who was walking on Laguna Beach's Victoria Beach near her property.

“Get f—ing moving! I’m not joking around,” the woman shouted. “It’s not harassment on the beach, it’s harassment in my home property! Get out of here now!”

The homeowner went on to unravel a white cord, which she used to enclose an area of the beach she claimed belonged to her.

In the video, a child could be heard telling his family that the woman is "so angry."

“You bet I’m angry," the woman said. "This is not an Instagram moment place. You’re in my property! Get moving now!”

A woman recording the video responded: “Ma’am, we’re walking."

“Pretty f—ing slow," the homeowner responded.

According to reports, the California Coastal Commissioner found the homeowner violated the law by roping off a portion of the public beach.

The homeowner was reportedly told to remove her ropes from the property or she may incur a fine of up to $11,000 a day.

Laguna Beach Park Rangers also told residents that "such behavior is unacceptable regardless of property boundaries” and “reminded them that any beach-related issues should be reported to the city for mediation," according to reports.
