Former President Donald Trump believes he's "entitled" to launch personal attacks against Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Thursday (August 15), Trump appeared at a press conference at his New Jersey golf club, where he said he was entitled to personally attack Harris, per USA Today.

“I think I’m entitled to personal attacks. I don’t have a lot of respect for her,” Trump said, adding that he was “very angry at her that she weaponized the justice system against me.”

“I don’t have a lot of respect for her intelligence and I think she’ll be a terrible president,” the former president added.

Trump also condemned President Joe Biden and Harris' handling of the economy and inflation during the press conference, where he was flanked by tables stacked with groceries.

The former president dodged questions on Thursday about Harris' proposal for a first-ever federal ban on price-gouging from food and grocery industries. However, Trump slammed Harris for opposing fracking and accused her of wanting to put "price controls all over the place, which will end up driving up your prices, not down your prices."

During Thursday's press conference, Trump also touted the rising prices of groceries stacked on the tables, including bread, Oreos, Fruit Loops, and more. The Republican nominee quipped that he planned to take some Cheerios back to his cottage at Bedminster.
