Wrestling star Hulk Hogan fired up a crowd by asking them if he should body-slam Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
On Monday (August 19), Hogan was promoting his new brew, Real American Beer, at Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio when he joked about pulling wrestling moves on Harris, according to video obtained by TMZ.
"Want me to body-slam Kamala Harris? Want me to drop the leg on Kamala?" Hogan asked patrons, who cheered in response to the idea.
The incident comes after Hogan gave a speech last month at the Republican National Convention, praising former President Donald Trump, the party's nominee.
On Monday, Hogan also took aim at Harris' race.
"Is Kamala a chameleon? Is she Indian?" Hogan said to the cheering crowd.
The WWE star then seemingly realized that he would receive backlash for his comments.
"That was not me. That was the beers talking," Hogan claimed.
While promoting his beer on Monday, Hogan slammed several cans and signed shirts for his fans. That same day, Harris appeared at the opening of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, where she set to formally accept her nomination later this week.
