A white mom is going viral after telling her adopted Black child to put a large bag of rice on her head "like an African."

In a video posted on TikTok, the mother, identified by social media users as Kaylee Wilson, appeared to be shopping in a supermarket when she told her young daughter to pick up a heavy bag of rice and balance it on top of her head.

"Put it on your head like an African," she said.

"Come on you have to know how to do this," the mother insisted, noting to her Black child "It's in your blood."

The woman then demonstrated how to balance the bag of rice while walking through a grocery aisle.

Social media users quickly found Wilson's YouTube channel, which has over 50,000 subscribers.

"We make videos that inspire joy!" the channel's description reads. "Our family dynamic is unique because 2 of our children are adopted from Africa, and 2 of our children are biological. One of our daughters is deaf and our whole family has learned sign language so we can teach her and communicate with her! We are passionate about adoption, free birth, and keeping our Heavenly Father's commandments while living debt-free on our homestead in Missouri!

Video of the woman with her adopted child garnered over 1.5 million views.

"That hurt something in my spirit," one TikToker commented.

"This literally almost made me tear up. That little girl will never forget that," another person wrote.

"Absolutely disgusting," a third chimed in.
