A new poll shows former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are tired in a key swing state that could determine the outcome of the 2024 election.
According to a Marist College poll released on Thursday (September 19), Trump and Harris are statistically tied in Pennsylvania as each candidate is projected to receive 49 percent of the vote with a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.
Trump tops Harris 49 percent to 45 percent among the state's independent voters while Harris leads among female and nonwhite voters.
According to Thursday's poll, Harris is leading in other midwestern swing states, including Wisconsin and Michigan.
Trump won the three "blue wall" states in 2016 over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. However, President Joe Biden flipped the midwestern states back to Democrat in 2020.
Harris leads Trump 52 percent to 47 percent in Michigan with a margin of error of plus or minute 3.1 percentage points.
In Wisconsin, Harris holds a one-point advantage to Trump's 49 percent, falling within the margin of error of plus or minus 3.3 percentage points.
Harris is set to return to Wisconsin on the campaign trail on Friday (September 20). Trump is heading to Pennsylvania amid the statistical tie for a rally on Monday (September 23).
