Former President Donald Trump launched an attack on Whoopi Goldberg, calling her a "demented" and "disgusting" person during a rally in Pennsylvania.
On Wednesday (October 9), Trump spoke at a rally in Reading, Pennsylvania where he bashed The View co-host following Vice President Kamala Harris' recent appearance on the daytime talk show.
Trump said Harris' interview on The View was "stupid" and featured "really dumb people" in an apparent attack on the show's co-hosts. The Republican nominee went a step further when speaking about Goldberg.
“I did a walk-on for Whoopi Goldberg now she says ‘I refuse to mention his name,’” Trump told rallygoers, referencing his appearance in Goldberg's 1996 film, Eddie.
“You know what, politics can do strange things to demented people,” the former president added.
Trump also claimed that Goldberg begged him to be part of the filming, telling him that he was "so great."
"If you ever ran for president, you’d win," Trump alleged Goldberg previously said.
During Wednesday's rally, Trump also claimed that he previously hired Goldberg to perform comedy, but she was “filthy, dirty, disgusting” and used vulgar language.
“What a loser she is,” Trump said.
The Republican nominee also blasted radio host Howard Stern for hosting Harris on his show. He claimed Stern was "weak" for asking Harris soft-ball questions.
“I used to think he was good then I dropped him, I dropped him like a dog,” Trump said.
