A conservative media personality under fire for criticizing Beyoncé's endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris was caught previously praising the artist online.

During a recent segment on Fox News @ Night, Xaviaer DuRousseau, a self-proclaimed, ex-Black Lives Matter activist turned outspoken Republican conservative, took aim at Bey's appearance and speech at Harris' Friday (October 25) rally in her hometown of Houston.

“She’s out here bringing every celebrity she can to get any kind of endorsement because she knows she doesn’t have any substance herself,” DuRousseau told host Trace Gallagher of Harris, who he labeled as "desperate."

The conservative personality then suggested Bey needs to focus on music rather than endorsing the Democratic nominee.

“She needs to be focusing on trying to keep her album on the charts because it’s already gone," DuRousseau said of the artist.

In an X post, DuRousseau shared video of his Fox News segment.

"The bravest thing I’ve ever done in my career is drag Beyoncé on live TV," he wrote alongside the video. "The BeyHive are domestic terrorists."

After sharing sharp criticism of Bey and her fanbase, social media users uncovered old tweets where DuRousseau praised the singer.

"Conservatives drag me everytime I say this, but I'm obsessed with the Carters and will defend them as if I'm on their payroll," he tweeted in 2023. "Jay-Z and Beyoncé are a royal family."
