A viral video shows an encounter between a "Karen" and a Black family who said they were falsely accused of smoking weed in their apartment.

In several videos posted on TikTok, user @cocochaneljonezz detailed how her white neighbor called the police to report her family for allegedly smoking marijuana. The neighbor assumed a marijuana smell in her apartment was coming from the Black family's home.

The TikTok user shared a public sign she posted on an apartment building notifying the neighbor that her family wasn't smoking.

“So I don’t know what neighbor it is in the area of Kennesaw that’s calling the front office and calling the police about me and my family for smoking, but it’s not us, OK?” Jonez said in a video. “I tried to get the information from the front desk and the police, but of course, they don’t wanna disclose the information."

The woman said her family had received several warnings, a call from the apartment's main office, and a police visit over the false report.

In another video, the neighbor who called the police visited the woman's apartment to confront her over the alleged marijuana smell. The TikTok user informed the neighbor that the smell wasn't coming from their apartment.

“I don’t believe you,” the neighbor said.

“Then why the f*** are you at our door?” the woman responded.

The neighbor noted that she came to the door after overhearing the TikTok user's conversation about the issue.

“You heard me on my phone saying that you’re the one that’s calling the police on us, saying that we’re smoking marijuana?” the TikTok user asked.

“I was told by the front office to call the police,” the neighbor said.

The Black woman's husband then joined the confrontation, suggesting to the neighbor that she should've asked them about the marijuana smell before calling the police.

The neighbor eventually apologized.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry and I hear you,” she said. “I don’t wanna be a Karen and call the police on you guys.”

Videos of the incident garnered hundreds of thousands of views on TikTok. Watch them below.
