A single mom from Sacramento, California is going viral on TikTok for her reaction to passing the bar exam on the first try.

In the viral TikTok video, Rhiannah Gordon, and her two kids, Flinn and Rhiley, shared their raw, tear-filled reaction to finding she passed the California bar exam.

“You can be anything and decide what you want and go after it,” Gordon said, per KOVR.

During the pandemic, Gordon said she decided to pursue her passion for crime and justice and leave her job working for the state's Department of Transportation.

“People will gladly tell you, ‘No,’” Gordon said. “Don’t tell yourself, ‘No,’ first.”

Gordon started studying, took the Law School Admission Test, and began applying to schools. She got accepted to the University of California, Davis, which allowed her to stay in her home with her kids.

Along the way, Gordon said she asked loved ones for help taking care of her kids while she documented her journey in law school on TikTok.

“There were 260 of us who graduated, and I was the only one who was a single parent,” Gordon said.

After graduating from law school, Gordon took the California bar exam, which has one of the lowest pass rates in the country.

The mother said she was happy to experience finding out she passed the exam with her kids.

“What I have instilled in my kids, whether I meant to or not, is that you work hard and it pays off.”
